Real Life > Rehearsed Perfection
My approach is simple: minimal intervention. I don't "set the scene" or ask you to tilt your chin for the hundredth time. I operate as a fly on the wall, capturing the day as it unfolds naturally. If you’re looking for a director to choreograph your every move, I’m probably not your person. But if you want to look back and remember exactly how the day felt—not just how you were told to pose—we’re going to be a great fit.
why this philosophy?
"I’ll let you in on a secret: I’m much more comfortable behind the lens than in front of it. When I was planning my own wedding, the idea of being directed and fussed over all day felt overwhelming. I just wanted to be present.
I chose a documentary-style photographer who followed the action without the fuss. It was the best decision I made. Did he catch a double-chin smile or an 'unflattering' mid-laugh pose? Sure. But he also caught the raw, unpolished joy that a posed portrait never could. Your wedding should feel like a fairytale storybook, but you shouldn't feel like the script is being written for you. You write the story; I’ll just be there to capture it."
